Polymeric fibrous separation materials FPP-KSV, FPP-20SA, FPP-10SG

Polymeric fibrous separation materials of the FPP type are dedicated for fabrication of separators for alkaline chemical current supplies of special application. The following types of materials are produced: FPP-KSV, FPP-20SA, FPP-10SG.

Polymeric fibrous separation material of the FPP type is a layer from ultra thin fibbers having the following structure:

  • FPP-KSV - combined layer of fibres with an average diameter of 7 µm and an average diameter of 1 µm;
  • FPP-20SA - basic layer of fibres with a diameter of about 2 µm enclosed between two layers from glued among themselves fibres with an average diameter 5 µm;
  • FPP-10SG - basic layer from fibres with a diameter of about 1 µm enclosed between two layers from glued among themselves fibres with a diameter of about 5 µm.

Polymeric fibrous separation materials of the FPP type are stable to the affects of strong acids and alkalis, solutions of salts, alcohols, saturated hydrocarbons, ketones, and complex esters; swelling in plastifiers. The materials FPP-KSV and FPP-20SA are hydrophobic; the material FPP-10SG is hydrophilic because of fibres having active surface substances. Polymeric fibrous separation materials of the FPP type have a strong and stable electrostatic charge, one which can flow off during long-term storage under the affects of vapours of water and organic substances.

The materials can be applied at temperatures from -180°С up to +60°С, after pressing from -100°С up to +75°С.

The conformity of the FPP material to the above technical requirements is guaranteed within the guarantee period in the case of the observance of conditions of transportation and storage by the customer.
