Filtering polymeric materials FPM
FPM are intended for thin clearing of air and gases from the suspended fragments (aerosols, dust, fogs) and fabrication of filtering half masks "Lepestok".
FPM can be used to equip filtering half masks of other types, for aerosol filters, for fabrication of complex clearing filters.
The filtering fibrous layer of materials is hydrophobic, stable in relation to the diluted acids and alkalis, alcohols, saturated hydrocarbons, glycerine, oils and petroleum, salt and sweet water, is diluted in aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons and esters, and ketones.
The fibres are placed on a substrate of gauze or non woven material. The material also can be made without a substrate.
FPM is produced as flat sheets or rolls.
FPM has a high and stable electrostatic charge, supplying high filtering properties in the event that the consumer observes the conditions for storage and exploitation.
The FPM material is manufactured in two types: FPM-70 and FPM-15, which differ in the average diameter of the fibres.
In turn, each type of a material is subdivided on some marks distinguished by the thickness of the filter layer and, accordingly, filtering efficiency.
The characteristics of the basic marks of FPM are given in the table.
The material can be used at temperatures up to 85°С and relative humidity up to 98 %. The recommended temperature range of exploitation is from -30°С up to +70°С and relative humidity up to 80 %. With an increase of these limits a decrease in filtering properties is possible; the mechanical properties are stable up to 75°С, irrespective of humidity.
The conformity of FPM to the technical requirements within 5 years as of the moment of fabrication is guaranteed if the consumer satisfies the external environment, transportation and storage conditions indicated in the technical requirements.
